exocad crown & bridge design — hands-on class

This is a hands-on class on designing clean, milling-ready crowns, veneers and bridges in exocad. You bring intraoral STL scans; you leave able to build restoratively-driven restorations with correct contacts, emergence and margins. Sessions are planned and taught by Nico personally, reviewed live, and revised until it is clinically right. Format and dates are arranged on request.

What you'll learn

Five focused blocks that take a scan from import to a milling-ready design. Every step is done inside exocad on real case data.

Importing STL scans, aligning models and setting the correct restoration type, material and margin parameters before you touch a tooth.

Margin line detection and clean-up — finding a defensible margin and keeping it consistent for single units and bridges.

Restoratively-driven anatomy: tooth libraries, morphing, occlusal contacts and interproximal contacts that seat and function.

Emergence profile, pontic design and connector sizing for bridges so restorations are strong, hygienic and natural.

Final checks and export: minimum thickness, spacer settings and producing a clean, milling-ready STL your lab can run.

Questions about the class

Do I need my own exocad license?

Yes — bring a working exocad install so you can follow along and keep building after the class. If you are still deciding on software, ask first and I'll point you to the right module for crown & bridge.

What's the format and how do I enroll?

Format, session length and dates are arranged on request — one-to-one or small-group, remote worldwide. Message me with your goals and current level and I'll propose a plan.

I just want the design done, not to learn. Can you do that?

Yes. I design crowns, veneers and bridges in exocad with a 24–48h turnaround, revised until it's right, and you pay after you approve. Start on the hire page instead of the class.
