Guided surgery

Guided implant surgery planning service

I plan your guided implant case personally in Blue Sky Plan, working backward from the final restoration so every implant lands where the tooth needs it. You send CBCT DICOM plus an intraoral STL scan; I return a surgeon-aware plan and a printable surgical guide in 24–48h (24h rush available). Every case is reviewed by me and revised until it is clinically right. You pay after you approve.

Guided implant surgery plan with restoratively driven implant positions in Blue Sky Plan

Who plans my dental implant case remotely?

I do, by name. You are not sending your case to an anonymous CAD farm.

Nico Beliko plans every case here. I am a digital-dentistry specialist working with clinics and labs worldwide from Aruba. The clinician who reviews your plan is the same person who designed it.

Because the plan is restoratively driven, I place implants to serve the prosthetic outcome first, then check bone, primary stability, and emergence. That is a harder plan to make and a better one to operate.

It also means I think like your surgeon: flap access, drill length and sleeve height, clearance from the nerve and sinus, and how the guide will actually seat in the mouth.

How do you keep clear of the nerve?

The inferior alveolar canal is traced on the CBCT before a single implant is positioned.

01

Trace the canal

I mark the inferior alveolar nerve and mental foramen on the DICOM volume so the danger zone is explicit throughout planning.

02

Keep a safety margin

Implant apices are planned with a clear vertical buffer above the canal, accounting for drill length beyond the sleeve.

03

Check every angle

Cross-sections are reviewed tooth by tooth in Blue Sky Plan before I approve, not just the panoramic view.

If anatomy is tight, I tell you. I would rather flag a shorter implant, a different angle, or a two-stage approach than force a plan that looks neat on screen and fights the anatomy in surgery.

What do I send?

Two files, one goal. A CBCT and a surface scan, matched together into a single planning model.

CBCT scanDICOMBone volume, density, and nerve position
Intraoral scanSTLAccurate soft tissue and tooth surface for the guide

No proprietary format is required. A standard DICOM export plus an STL from any Medit or intraoral scanner is enough to start.

Do you also make the guide?

Yes. Plan and printable surgical guide come together, from the same restoratively driven design.

Plan first

Implant positions are locked to the final restoration, reviewed against the anatomy, and shared with you for approval.

Guide second

Once you approve, I design a tooth- or tissue-supported surgical guide with sleeves matched to your kit, exported as a print-ready STL.

You print and sterilise the guide locally, or I can prepare it for your lab. The design stays consistent because one person planned the case and drew the guide.

FAQ

Guided surgery questions

How fast is the turnaround?

Standard is 24–48h from receiving clean files. A 24h rush is available when a surgery date is close.

What if the plan needs changes?

I revise until it is clinically right. Feedback on implant position, guide support, or restoration is part of the service, not an extra.

Do you work with my implant system?

Any system. I plan around the brand and kit your surgeon already uses, including matched sleeves for the guide.

When do I pay?

After you approve the plan and guide. You review the work before any payment is due.
